It is indisputable that tropical fruits are rich in nutrients, but Guanabana (soursop) is extremely nutritious !!

Just over 20 years ago this fruit was considered exotic in Colombia.  The development and boom in production has allowed consumption and exports to grow considerably. Currently, the evolution in cultivation techniques, the standardization of production processes and the increase in foreign demand has created a boom in the production of soursop at the national level. So much so that it is the tenth largest fruit crop produced in the country. The main soursop producing regions in Colombia are Tolima, Valle del Cauca, Santander, Cundinamarca, Huila and Antioquia. They are mostly small producers with between 60 and 500 trees.

Within Soursop you can find mineral salts, potassium, phosphorus, iron, calcium, lipids, vitamin C, provitamin A, and vitamin B. The flavour makes it unique and it also has the advantage of being the least seasonal tropical fruit. Nowadays, due to the studies that have been carried out on soursop. Its great properties are attributed to medical treatments for medical conditions such as cancer, asthma, liver disorders, hypertension, and diabetes. It is studied in helping to prevent, regulate and even treat these pathologies. Colombian Soursop is appreciated in the markets for their size, shape and quality. It is a perishable fruit that deteriorates a few days after being harvested. For this reason we decided to freeze-dry this delicious fruit. So that its flavor and benefits reach more homes around the world. So that this wonder that the earth offers us can be enjoyed by everyone.

Our Soursop comes from Tolima and Valle del Cauca. From small and medium farmers which generate employment for several families. Contributing and impacting a small part of the agricultural sector that is so forgotten. ❤️
